A perfect time for celebration

The School Quadrangle was beautifully decked up with an attractive backdrop and fresh flowers to celebrate the festival of lights ‘Diwali’, a programme which was arranged exclusively by students of Classes IV and V. It was on 19th October 2022, when the morning rays were welcomed by bright glowing diyas lit by the Management, Teachers and Students of the school. The function began with a brief introduction and a Prayer Service, followed by a song sung and the music thereby played by the children. A speech to signify the importance of the festival was delivered, accompanied by two beautiful dances and a skit to emphasize the victory of light over darkness. Manager Sr. Floripe and Principal Sr. Juanita gave eloquent speeches to make students understand the in-depth implication of the festival ‘Diwali’ in true sense. Special attention was drawn on safe celebration of the festival. The function ended with the song ‘Happy Diwali’ which was enjoyed by all.
To continue with the celebration mood, the school had ‘Love Sharing Day’ wherein, all Teachers and Students had brought from home yummy delicacies to share with one another in their respective classes. Amidst the hustle-bustle, Principal-Sr. Juanita, visited every class to be a part of Love Sharing activity and enjoyed every bit of bite offered by teachers and students. Later, at the School Sports Complex, teachers too shared their food items with their colleagues which was exciting and fun-loving. Truly a unique and distinct way to celebrate this auspicious day!
