75th AZAADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV - INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The morning drizzle did not dampen the patriotic spirit of Queen of Angels’ Convent School, as the Gujarati Medium geared up to celebrate the solemn occasion of 75th Year of Indian Independence Day on 15th August 2022.

The Chief Guest, Sir OmvirTyagi, Senior Teacher of English Medium, unfurled the Tricolour Flag, while the National Anthem and National Song were played. The Student Council carried out the March Past with great solidarity. Various breathtaking performances, highlighting the pains and sacrifices laid down by our great leaders, were put up by the students. Later speeches were delivered by the Chief Guest and the Principal-Gujarati Medium, Sr. Mary Harriet, respectively, both emphasizing on the significance of this earnest fervor and the need of the hour expected from our teenagers and youth. The ceremony concluded with the vote and thanks. Truly, a joyous moment!
