In a significant step towards promoting environmental responsibility among students, a Plastic Waste Awareness and Collection Drive was recently organized by Petronet LNG Limited in collaboration with the District Education Office, Bharuch. The session was facilitated by Farm Bridge Social Support Foundation, who are known for their commitment to sustainable development and community outreach.
The awareness session was conducted by Ms. Anjali Choudhary and Mr. Rohit Dervalia, whose engaging and informative presentation left a lasting impact on the students. Through interactive discussions, real-life examples, the facilitators educated students about the growing problem of plastic pollution, its harmful effects on the environment, and the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling plastic.
Students from standards VI to IX and XI enthusiastically participated in the session. They not only learned about the environmental challenges posed by plastic waste but also gained practical insights into how they, as responsible citizens, can contribute to a cleaner and greener planet.
The school deeply appreciates the efforts of FarmBridge Social Support Foundation for organizing such a meaningful and enlightening program.
