The pre-primary section celebrated Yellow Day with great enthusiasm and joy. The objective of the celebration was to help children recognize and appreciate the bright and cheerful colour yellow.
The little ones came dressed in beautiful yellow outfits and brought yellow-coloured objects from home. The activity room was decorated with yellow balloons, flowers and pictures of yellow fruits, honey bee and giraffe creating a vibrant and happy atmosphere.
Children were introduced to various yellow-coloured things such as bananas, lemons, sunflowers, pumpkin and the sun. A Thumb printing activity was also arranged for the children. Sr. Kg. students printed on the picture of the Sun, Jr. Kg. students printed on the picture of a crop and Nursery students printed on the picture of a tree. Children excitedly took part in the Thumb printing activity and they enjoyed a lot.
Show-and-tell activity was also organised to help the children recognize the yellow colour. The celebration helped enhance the children’s understanding of colours, while making learning enjoyable and interactive.
The bright smiles and cheerful participation of the little ones made the event a memorable success.
