Yes, a grand farewell was organised for Mrs. Nikita Choumal on 27th April 2025 at the School Sports Complex by students of Std. IX. She was duly accompanied by the Manager, Sr. Jenny, Principal, Sr. Edwina and senior teachers, Mrs. Manisha S. and Mrs. Anjali. After a brief introduction of the day, followed the prayer service, wherein Principal, Sr. Edwina, handed over a glowing lamp to Mrs. Nikita who was escorted to the stage. Petitions were read by the students focusing on her good health, family and future prospects. After a farewell song, sung by the choir, dances were performed thanking her long service at school. Mrs. Anjali, on behalf of teachers, expressed her views on Mrs. Nikita, not just as a teacher but a colleague too. Ms. Siya of Std. IX conveyed her feelings by expressing gratitude to Mrs. Nikita for moulding young minds and making them think outside the box. Beloved Principal, Sr. Edwina, in her speech appreciated and thanked for her hard efforts, thus shaping lives of innumerable students. She not just taught lessons from the textbooks but also life lessons that made her students realize the practicality of life. Sister wished her a bright and healthy future life. As a token of love and affection, bouquet, gifts and gratuity amount was offered to Mrs. Nikita on stage. Teachers too gave gift to Mrs. Nikita. Finally choked with emotion, Mrs. Nikita took over the mike to thank everyone for helping her to make the twenty one year long service a smooth sail.
