A promise to safeguard and protect one’s sister is the key note to the celebration of Raksha Bandhan, which was clearly witnessed at the school quadrangle as a special assembly was conducted by Std VIII. A beautiful skit was put up by the class, emphasising on the significance of the day.
The primary section, later continued the festive mood in their respective classrooms, by girls tying rakhis on the boys’ wrist and distributing sweets. The children were in their best coloured dress.
All in all, the day concluded with a strong cultural message which was instilled in every student.
