The school buzzed with activities on the Bagless Day held on 29th June 2024. The first session began at 7.30 a.m. where the students of Std XI and XII were seen boarding a bus (arranged by the School Principal) for an educational trip to Shoft Shipyard Pvt. Limited at Dahej Port Jetty, nearly 35 kilometres from the school. In the meantime, the guest, Mrs. Vaibhavi Shreyans Jogani, a Dot Mandala expert from Surat, set up her training session at the A.V. Room for Art students of Std VI to VIII. Students of Std X were engrossed watching a motivational movie, 12 Fail, after which a questionnaire was distributed for simple evaluation. Other students of Std. VI to IX were busy exhibiting their Geography Project in an innovative manner, decorating the smiley ball and analyzing their mental math abilities, respectively.

Amidst stirring Saturday schedule at school, an important event was held i.e. Inauguration of Photography Club. The Chief Guest, Mr. Samir Anand, a prominent photographer, was duly welcomed by the Principal with a sapling, after which the inauguration took place on the display board of the Interactive Panel in Std. XII room. Later, the Principal congratulated the team for having taken the initiative to promote photography as a profession among students. The guest, then, gave a lecture on various photography media and technical use of camera.

After 10.30 a.m., students from Std. III to X assembled at the School Quadrangle for a unique reason, yes, the Fire Safety Demonstration and Training Session. The initiation was taken by Shri P. S. Keshwani, Manager – Fire & Safety Department and a team comprising of officers and a pair of firemen, all of whom were working at GNFC Company Limited, Bharuch. After a formal welcome by the school, the event began by providing primary information about fire safety, its significance in day to day life, need of awareness about various techniques. Later, the firemen demonstrated use of various fire fighting devices. The most exciting part was evacuation plan, when a false alarm or siren was blown which marked of fire emergency. Before carrying out this mock drill, necessary instructions were given to teachers and students as to how to evacuate the school building in 45 seconds in complete discipline and silence. Students, accordingly obeyed the instructions and all managed to come back to the quadrangle from their respective classes in 3 minutes and 27 seconds. Though the time exceeded, the session was quite exciting and an eye opener to all.  Truly a thrilling day for all!
