Behold… I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
On 22nd December 2022, the school wore a mirthful look with lights, decorations, cute crib at the entrance, and a huge tree duly decked up with bells, stars and other ornaments. Nevertheless, to mention the school building embellished with hanging blue and white lights. Yes, the reason was obvious, it’s the Christmas Season, a joyous moment to rejoice.
On the chill winter morning, the premises echoed with Christmas hymns. With loads of excitement and bustle around, the Christmas programme began at 8am by introducing the event. A prayer service was held, signifying the role of each element hung on the Christmas tree, followed by a divine sway. An act was put to turn the spotlight on the birth of Jesus Christ perfectly linked with carols sung by four houses, thus highlighting the essence to the core. Children couldn’t control their excitement when Santa Claus entered the arena with balloons and bag full of gifts. They sprang from their places to wish the legendary figure in red and white A Merry Christmas. The finale was a surprise to all, when the Sisters of our School, with the red Santa caps on, graced the stage and sang Feliz Navidad. Sr.Floripe, the Manager, in her speech explained the relevance of the festive season of giving and sharing love, care, and helping others. Then came the much awaited moment i.e. sharing of gifts by teachers. Yes, a month before the celebration day, teachers pick up chit to select their Secret Christmas Friend. Since then, they pray for them, and on the celebration day, convey their gratitude by exchange of presents. A unique way to convey ‘We care for you’!
