SCHOOL ANNUAL DAY 2022-23
Coming after two years of Covid restrictions, the Annual Day on 25th January 2023, was a much awaited event. Approximately 2000 guests from within and outside Bharuch graced the occasion with their presence, and nearly 900 students participated in the performance.The climax of the evening was the musical, ‘A Kaleidoscopic Journey’ which depicted the journey of young minds towards a true understanding of heroism.
Spanning the past and present of the country, the performance showed the journey of India from submission to sovereignty, then from sovereignty to development. It paid a tribute to all those who committed themselves to the noble ideals of love, service and sacrifice and hailed them as true heroes. The Green Revolution, the White Revolution, the empowerment of women, success in sports, Swachh Bharat campaign and the Indian space programme were shown with a variety of dance forms and mime which were a juxtaposition of the past and present.
The students who has excelled in the ICSE and ISC Board Exams were felicitated and scholarships awarded to the deserving. The School Report for the year 2022-23 was presented in a newsroom format.
The performance concluded with a fervent hope and faith that a new face of India would emerge in the coming years. On the event of Republic Day, it was a fitting tribute to the country and ended with the grand finale in which all members of the QACS family gathered to the tune of ‘I have a dream’ and sang the National Anthem.
