In a vibrant exhibit of team spirit and sportsmanship, Queen of Angels’ Convent School hosted its Annual Sports Meet, Triumph 2023-24, on 3rd February 2024 amidst a pleasant weather and splendid crowd of Parents, which was a total transition of School Ground Arena into a sensational display of talent, teamwork, competitions and victory.
The warm welcome of the Chief Guest, Shri Naresh Patel, Guest of Honour, Shri Hitesh kumar Upadhyay and other dignitaries in coordination with the March Past by the Student Council to the rhythm of the Band music, marked the commemoration the show. Prayer always a mandatory course was the initial formality, after which followed the sequence of the Meet and to begin with, was the Torch Relay Event, which was lit by the Chief Guest to be carried on by the proud National Players of our school. Words of welcome and wisdom expressed by the Principal, Sr. Edwina, electrified not just the players but audience too.
Turn-outs was the next in the agenda where the judges of the March Past observed keenly the neatness, discipline, movements and salutation of every School House, namely-Blue, Green, Red and Yellow. The unfurl of the School Flag that signified pride and symbol of unity and identity of the Institution was honoured by the Chief Guest. The display of the well-synchronized March Past, Oath taking ceremony and the dazzling drill display by Classes III to VII and the Yogic Yoga, amidst the pulsating energy and echoing cheers added hues to the big day.
Queen of Angels’ Convent School has always been a centre focus to the overall development of every student, thus appreciating their capabilities at every point. Achievers’ Award Ceremony by the Chief Guest, was the next in the list, to felicitate the Rank Holders of ICSE and ISC and proficiency in various subjects.
Then began the exhilarating races, not just individuals, but team events too. Students through their resilience and determination tried their level best to reach the victorious line, thus making the atmosphere the most thrilling one. Parents and Teachers too received an opportunity to showcase their talents and skills. The Guest of Honor illuminated the audience with his words of appreciation which only aggravated the excitement and enthusiasm. Finally, the winners of various individual and team events were conferred with medals and certificates. Truly, an extension of unity and companionship within the academy’s walls!!!
Similar Annual Sports Meet, Triumph 2023-24 was held on 5th February 2024, especially for the tiny tots of Queen of Angels’ Convent School from Nursery to Std II. The Chief Guest of the day was Shri Shubham Agrawal, an entrepreneur and ex-student and Sports Captain of our School. It was a joyous moment for the Parents to watch as their little ones’ feet tapped the ground not just to the tunes of drill display, but to win every race and take up the victorious podium with pride.
