GNFC SCIENCE FAIR 2022

After a two year gap, owing to Covid 19 Pandemic, Narmadanagar Science Center (NCSC of GNFC Limited, Bharuch) had organized its 27th Annual Science Festival on the 17th and 18th December 2022 at Namadanagar Township, Bharuch.

Such fairs and exhibitions help students in carving out their hidden potentials to conduct independent research, thus instilling scientific thinking, learn from their experiences and get motivated to design and develop something new and innovative. In fact, every school in Bharuch District eagerly await this occasion to showcase their budding scientists’ best projects and models.

Well, as for Queen of Angels’ Convent Higher Secondary School, it was truly a challenging task, having regained the OVER-ALL ROLLING TROPHY FOR TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS. Among several categories, our school had enthusiastically participated in around 25 events which was extremely overwhelming. The two days proved very hectic for our participants, for their projects and models attracted maximum crowd in the fair. Irrespective of the age, our students keenly explained every bit of their projects and models, in detail in whichever language suited the listener. Moreover, this year, the NCSC had introduced two new categories, namely, Robo Goal and Robo Race.

On 18th December 2022 at 4pm, when the stage was set at the complex for the valedictory function, our students were glued to their chair, holding their breath eagerly waiting to know their ranking in each category. Their happiness knew no bound when almost in every category the name of the school was announced and couldn’t stop cheering and applauding. Later, in the end, came the announcement of the Over-All Rolling Trophy, yes, it was a hat trick for our school, once again Queen of Angels’ Convent Higher Secondary School seized the show and ran on the dais to receive the trophy with great pride. To sum up the whole event, our Angelites’ though exhausted, wore a winning and inflated look and once again, did not allow the Rolling Trophy to roll out of our School.
