Today marks a special occasion – Bagless Day! It’s a time to break free from the ordinary, and dive into a day filled with excitement, learning and exploration. As we step away from our traditional routines, we open ourselves up to new experiences and endless possibilities. Bagless Day isn’t just about leaving our bags behind. It’s about shedding the weight of the familiar and embracing the thrill of unknown. It’s a chance to discover hidden talents, forge new friendships and ignite our curiosity. Throughout the day, let’s immerse ourselves in every activity with boundless enthusiasm and energy. Whether it’s delving into scientific experiments, mental Math, unleashing our creativity through art, dance and music, or exploring the great outdoors, let’s seize every moment and make it memorable. Let’s challenge ourselves to step outside our comfort zones, try something new and push the boundaries of what we think is possible. Together, we’ll create memories that will last a lifetime and inspire us to continue seeking adventure in everything we do. So, let’s embark on this journey with open hearts and eager minds. No sooner did our Principal, Sr. Edwina, conveyed the aforesaid message than the students from Std I to Std XII, sprang with excitement to experience the first ever Bagless Day in the history of QACS which was on 13th April 2024. Well planned by the teachers, the day was divided into three sections each for an hour. The outdoor activities for Primary Section included games like long/hurdle jump, kho kho and zumba, whereas, Secondary had games like cricket, football, basketball and volleyball. To avoid heat stroke, Sr. Edwina had arranged big jugs of Tang Drink on the ground, which was being refilled every half an hour. The indoors included sketching, painting, stitching and embroidery. Subsequently, a resource person for Art and Craft was invited to tap the hidden talents of the students. Though exhausted, they enjoyed every moment, unaware of the fact that the acquaintance helped them to enhance their learning process. Anxiously, waiting for the next Bagless Day!
